About PLUM

PLUM exists at the intersection of color, texture, and craft. Each fabric and sewn object embodies intentional living, restraint, and enduring quality.

Founded by Allison Warren, PLUM’s work draws from a lineage of design rooted in California’s landscapes and a legacy of fiber, weaving, and mid-century modern sensibility.

Allison studied Painting and Fiber at Cranbrook and was influenced by alum Jack Lenor Larson while a graduate student there. Allison's drawings are based on warp and weft grids, and they continue to create a dialogue between fiber, art, and life, and are a touchstone for PLUM.

Craft techniques form the basis for design. Piecing, dyeing, edging, and color-blocking are integral to our process of making. Natural fibers, traceable sourcing, and local craftsmanship set a standard for living intentionally.

The work can be viewed at Remodelista, House & Garden, House Beautiful, and CS Modern, and appears in House & Garden’s “The List” of resources for the trade.
