In Praise of Plain

I saw an image the other day of a military hospital during WW2. It was an image of single beds all in a row. Made up in army green linens. One coverlet and one pillow, nothing fancy and nothing else needed. These textiles served a singular purpose - to comfort and protect to those in need. And they did it beautifully, I think. Like at the hospital, textiles at home comfort and protect, and also provide beauty. Both these spaces exist to serve. With this in mind, we offer a selection of mid to heavier weight linens, which can also be sewn into goods. In terms of design, they are quite plain, but their humbleness and sincerity is refreshing, and sometimes that's all that is needed.
